Challenge: Create new rails app and migrate all existing content from WordPress. Continue to use WordPress as a publishing platform and integrate newly designed front end.

Solution: We used WordPress as a content publishing platform via WordPress’s api which then published directly to the rails app.  To create a faster user experience, we developed a private api to integrate rails backend with angular.js front end.

VILM

Posted by Eric Goodenough on September 30, 2012

Challenge: Vilm contacted us to create a web application that helps you send customized moving invitations for events and parties.

Solution:  Using a combination of open source technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Javascript and FFMPEG; we created a customized solution to create text-overlaid video on the fly.  This type of custom text-over-video technology has never really been seen before, which meant we had to create a video engine from scratch.
